A large international geotechnical specialist who have been operating for over 100 years’ are searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

This business has a long and rich history having worked on some of the most prestigious projects across the globe.

Due to an increase in workload on the HS2 project, they require a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC experience to assist in a high profile Joint Venture.

You will be based in Buckinghamshire and working in close conjunction with the current commercial team and alongside the JV counterparts.

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor that wants to step into a Senior QS role, or alternatively a Senior Quantity Surveyor that wants to join a reputable civil engineering contractor on the largest project in the UK.

Some more of your duties:

Undertake cost analysis of bid returns

Commercial support to office management

Providing regular cash flow and forecasts

Finalise contractors’ accounts and close out contracts

Monthly commercial profit reporting

Assist and prepare monthly valuations

Being responsible for tendering documents and paying subcontractors

About you:

Degree in Quantity Surveying

Experience with NEC Contracts

Experience within Piling / Ground Engineering projects

Previous experience in a main or subcontractor

Team player with strong communication skills
