Carmichael are seeking a senior QS to join a major infrastructure project based in Buckinghamshire.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor focusing on change management, you will be an integral part of the commercial team where you will develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.

An essential part of the role is managing the commercial team in procurement activities. You must work closely with the operations team for the identification and control of change management through design, 3rd parties and construction constraints. Notifying change events accordingly through the contract and negotiate agreements of both principle and quantum with the client.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with top tier main contractor within a major project

Extensive understanding and experience working on NEC contracts

Previously worked on change management, both principle and quantum

Heavy civil engineering experience is essential

Good organisation and communication skills are essential

Knowledge of the HS2 project is highly desirable
