I am looking to speak with a Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer with both contaminated land and geotechnical experience that is looking for a role to sit under an Associate Director to help build and develop a Geo department within a well respected Civil, Structural and Environmental Consultancy that has multiple offices throughout the UK.

With a strong client base, you will be tasked with helping to manage Geo-Environmental/Geotechnical projects, get technical work out the door and mentor junior engineers. You will also be working within a multidisciplinary environment liaising closely with the internal structural engineers to analyse, recommend, calculate and design foundations.

As a Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have the autonomy of managing projects from inception through to completion on a technical, financial and commercial basis.

Currently you must be able to take projects from phase I to remediation and validation stages. This includes designing & managing GI's and delivering technical reports including; phase 1, phase 2 interpretation, GQRA, DQRA, remedial method statements and foundation recommendations.

The ideal Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer will have:

Degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have a
Minimum of 5 year's practical experience within a UK Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical consultancy
Experience and understanding of current UK legislation for contaminated land.
Ability to liaise whilst help the Geo-Environmental and field engineers. Phase I, II and III – Report writing; peer review and technical report checking skills
Planning, managing and delivering projects
