Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Building Services Consultancy
£40k – £50k (DOE) – predominantly remote working

An established building services engineering consultancy are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their business. 

They have experience an incredibly busy 12 months and, due to a strong orderbook, they need to expand their mechanical team.

With the directors looking to plan for the future, they are looking for an self-motivated, reliable and ambitious individual that they has potential to progress to director level over the next few years.

They are currently doing a number of educational, high-end residential and healthcare projects and surveys across the UK and they require a strong mechanical design engineer to conduct condition surveys.

Whilst their office is based in Buckinghamshire, they are considering applicants from locations further out as they are able to accommodate long-term remote working with perhaps 1 day per week in the office.

To apply for this Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role:  

You must have a minimum of 5 years’ UK experience in mechanical building services design engineering on ideally a variety of project sectors
Experience in the design and specification of all Mechanical (HVAC) and Public Health building services systems
Be able to carry out and manage others in the production of details calculations using
Experience in industry standard software including Hevacomp, Revit MEP and TAS
Have experience in site surveys, inspections and monitoring work on site and good report/technical note writing
Have a full UK drivers’ license and access to your own car
Pass a DBS check
They are looking to pay circa £40k – £50k DOE and will pay standard mileage rate.
