An Award Winning Design Agency based in Berkshire is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team with a deep knowledge of plastics.

As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will play a lead role within the team, working alongside the industrial / product design team, helping to realise exciting conceptual ideas into innovative, working, injection moulded or mechanical solutions. You will typically create and execute product concepts across a range of markets ranging from life sciences to social entertainment.

The key skills required for this role will be:

Degree in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering
Sound grasp of mechanical engineering principles, ideally within a consultancy environment
Deep knowledge of materials, plastic and metal production processes
Experience of developing design concepts for prototyping and manufacture
Excellent communication skills and experience in pitching presentations to clients
Good problem analysis and solving skills

In return you will receive a salary of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, a great working environment and the opportunity to collaborate with innovative companies across a range of markets.
