Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer- Buckinghamshire

Our client has presented a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their well-established team who specialise in undertaking all types of Site Investigation work throughout the South East of England. The company is innovative, talented, and experienced in all aspects of Ground Investigation work. The role offers incredible training programmes where the candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of projects. The desirable applicant will be Chartered or will be supported and encouraged to achieve Chartership status as soon as possible. Suitable candidates will be well organised and will be able to keep a team motivated.

Skills and Experience required to be considered:

Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Geology, Civil Engineering, or degree in the relative field.
Experience working in Site Investigation
Experience of Contracts, Sub-contractors, and Clients
Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
Excellent communication skills to liaise with Clients and Colleagues
Knowledge of GI specifications, procedures, techniques, and codes of practice
Knowledge of HoleBASE
Experience working in an office environment
Proven Experience working as a Senior in a Similar Environment
Full and clean UK driving licenseTypical Duties as an Engineering Geologist:

Manage Ground Investigation projects
Contribute to the safety, cost control and performance of contracts, making sure all requirements are met
Collate data, and schedule the analysis of soil and water samples, along with report writing in accordance with the specification and current standards
Make recommendations on the use of certain sites and whether remediation is recommended
Lead and support a team
Engage with all project Stakeholders and offer updates of progress and developments
Assist in preparation of Health and Safety documentation before and during any site worksThis role offers a competitive salary, excellent training, and a proven career pathway
