My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Milton Keynes. This role offers hybrid working and the option to work from home.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Hydrology, Civil or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Resilience and Surface Water Drainage Strategies.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing drainage design using Microdrainage.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers in Milton Keynes to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage Projects for flood zone 1,2 and 3 for Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.

Applicants will also be required to manage projects and complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Risk Maps.

-Property Flood Resilience.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Surface Water Drainage Strategy and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.

-Hydraulic Modelling (training will be provided).
