Senior Engineer – Electrical Safety Delivery

Location: Partly based at home/The Quadrant, Milton Keynes

Rate: £450 per day, inside IR35

Term: 12-month contract initially

Do you have experience working on Electrical Safety Delivery in the Rail Industry?

Are you a Subject Matter Expert in standard development & training material development?

Do you hold DC expertise and demarcation development along with trialling experience?

“Our client is a well-established Nationwide Rail company who provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.”

They are currently looking to recruit a team of Electrical Safety Engineers to implement systems and procedures and apply engineering controls to all projects and check whether all design and construction contracts include reference to appropriate railway groups.

You will:

* Apply relevant techniques and procedures of qualified and qualitative risk assessment and HAZOP analysis to all projects and check environmental aspects are managed in line with the company environmental policy.

* Provide advice on construction activities, testing and commissioning and site supervision.

* Monitor whether the design and construction elements meet the requirements of legislation, including construction design management (CDM) regulations.

* Requires AC and OHL experience

* Undertake accident investigations.

* Undertake duties of nominated design and construction / engineering.
