Synergi are recruiting for a Senior Engineer to join a large FMCG Manufacturer in Buckinghamshire. This is a great opportunity for a Engineering Team Leader or Senior Engineer to take their next step and work for a very successful FMCG Manufacturer with sites located all over the UK.

Job Description of a Senior Engineer:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be working closely with the Maintenance Manager to complete weekly Engineering tasks alongside managing a team of Engineering Technicians. You will be required to carry out learning and development reviews, 1-2-1 meetings and input with continuous improvements/projects to ensure tasks are completed to appropriate standards.

Roles & Responsibilities of a Senior Engineer:

Managing team of Engineering Technicians
Hands of Maintenance Assistant when required (this will be around 10% of workload)
Scheduling Weekly Engineering Tasks (Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Work Orders)
Performance Reviews, 1-2-1 Meetings, Learning and Development Plans
Review and Analyse Line Efficiency, Wasteage and Downtime
Coordinate and Manager Contractor Activity (RAMS, Permit Control and Supervision)
Reading Electrical/Mechanical Diagrams/Manuals to identify correct replacement parts
Continuous Improvement Plans
Managing Small Capital Projects (Project Management, Budgets, Maintenance Systems)
