A large well-established Civil Engineering contractor are searching for a Section Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This business is working on a large infrastructure project and require a Section Engineer to join their team on an earthworks package which is taking place in Buckinghamshire.

Responsibilities:

Setting out

As-Built surveys for quantities.

Uploading models onto Plant GPS systems

Arranging, attending and recording Quality Inspections as per approved QA system.

Method statements and Risk Assessments

3 weekly lookahead  programmes

Liaising with Site Foreman

Reporting to Construction Manager

Personal Qualities:

Good attitude towards HSE

Good timekeeping

Result orientated

Experience in earthworks

Trimble GPS

Survey Software

Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)

functions independently

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
