My client is seeking a Senior Engineer with ground investigation experience to join a major infrastructure project on a permanent basis.

Day to day duties will involve

Assist with coordination, progress tracking and troubleshooting of Ground Investigation (GI) fieldworks and lab testing delivery across one of the project sections

Close liaison with the relevant GI section agents from the GI delivery team on site

Close liaison with the relevant GI subcontractors and the GI laboratories to track and monitor progress and resolve issues (e.g. restricted tests, unsuitable samples etc.)

Direct reporting to the Design & Engineering Section Lead to ensure the delivery of GI information on time

Manage and respond to relevant contractual communications

Attend Risk Reduction meetings

Supporting the link and coordination with the GI delivery team and GI subcontractors for management of GI related topics is again an essential part of this role
