Sales Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer Food Processing and Production Equipment including X-Rays, Metal Detectors and Checkweighers. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with relevant industry experience to join their team.

The successful Sales Engineer will be required travel throughout the UK to attend customer sites in order to promote and sell Food Processing and Packaging machinery to Food Manufacturers.

Sales Engineer – Food Production Equipment Position Overview

Working towards Financial Sales targets in a commission driven role
Providing technical solutions to new and existing customers with a technical engineering approach
Providing reports and sales progress updates using CRM software
Creating and submitting proposals to customers
Producing Sales forecasts and assisting the development of sales strategies
Developing relationships with new customers and cementing existing relationships with existing accounts

Sales Engineer – Food Production Equipment Position Requirements

Previous experience within the Food Processing, production and / or Packaging machinery / equipment industry
Proven background within a Sales, Applications, Service or Technical Engineering role
Positive attitude and highly self-motivated
Excellent communication skills
Full UK Clean Driving License

Sales Engineer – Food Production Equipment Position Remuneration

Salary £28,000 – £40,000 – Dependent upon experience + Commission Structure
