Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager/ Technical Sales Engineer required for a leading engineering distributor of pneumatic/ compressed air systems.

The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager/ Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have experience selling compressors, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers, nitrogen generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, capital equipment or similar compressed air equipment. Full product training provided.

Service Engineers looking to come off the tools with mechanical engineering experience and progress in to a sales role would be of huge interest.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager/ Technical Sales Engineer Role
Selling compressors, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers, nitrogen generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, other compressed air equipment in to various industries.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development.
Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Gain and protect new compressor equipment and service business via excellent customer service.
Working closely with the service department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Commutable to the South of the UK or willing to relocate.
Liaise with various engineering departments

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager/ Technical Sales Engineer Requirements
Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive, Internal Sales Engineer or similar.
Service Engineers with mechanical engineering experience looking to come off the tools and progress in to a sales roles would also be of huge interest.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Experience Selling or servicing mechanical engineering equipment – compressors, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers, nitrogen generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, capital equipment or similar compressed air equipment would be advantageous.
Full clean driving license
