A UK leading Fork Lift Truck company has a new requirement for a Resident Engineer to join one of their customer's sites based in the Milton Keynes area. They offer a very attractive salary package with Overtime Rates, 33 Days holiday, 6% Contributory Pension, Life Cover, working Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the role will be maintaining, diagnosing and repairing of Fork Lift Truck equipment on site.

We would consider Vehicle Technicians, Master Technicians, HGV Technicians for this opportunity. Key requirements that are transferable in these sectors diagnostics/electrics.

Responsibilities of the Resident Engineer:

Engine rebuilds, full truck refurbishing and installation of electrical accessories.
You will have the ability to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard.
Servicing and repair of forklifts on site
Diagnosing the nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, 'can-do' attitude.
Completing a service reportsRequirements of the Resident Engineer

Level 3 in Plant or Vehicle Maintenance preferred
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, HGV Technician, FLT/Resident Engineer or Workshop Technician
Experienced in Diagnostics, Electrics, Engines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and using in-house reporting systems
Methodical approach to work

Base salary £27k – OTE £30k+
Overtime paid at time and half – over standard 40 hour week
