We are currently recruiting for a Reliability Technician to join our expanding team based in the Milton Keynes area. You will work in a fast-paced semi-automated environment and happy to apply yourself in a hands on capacity to resolve lost time machinery issues.
The Reliability Technician’ Daily Duties
– The Reliability Technician will gain an understanding of faults within automated plant machinery and facilitate improvements to rectify the problems on a proactive basis.
– Develop, implement and monitor programs such as Preventative maintenance, reliability-centred maintenance, Condition-based maintenance and FMEA programs.
– Work with Production and supplier stakeholders to coordinate machinery repair / upgrade projects.
– You will investigate repeat failures and use root cause analysis to target machines or areas highlighted by KPI data.
– Liaise with the project department, design department and the maintenance team facilitating proactive improvements.
– Utilise equipment and techniques such as thermography, oil and vibration analysis to determine the problems and make improvements.
The Successful Reliability Technician:
– The ideal candidate will have worked within a hands-on Maintenance role for several years before being exposed to reliability / Continuous improvement projects.
– The successful Engineer will have experience of Reliability Engineering and Engineering improvement projects within a Manufacturing environment.
– The Successful Reliability Technician will ideally have some competence in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines although single skilled will be considered.
Candidate could also be considered from: Maintenance Technician, Project Engineer, Lean Manufacturing Engineer and manufacturing engineer.
Salary – £40,000
Hours – 8.30am – 5:00pm
Holidays – 25 days
