Release Engineer – 12 Month Contract (Possibility of extension) – Inside IR35 – Predominantly Remote – ASAP Start

Are you an experienced Release Engineer looking for a new project with a leading automotive client of ours based in Milton Keynes.

This requirement is mostly remote, however you will be required to be onsite once every 2 weeks.

You will be will be:

-Generate Change notes from Change requests raised by commodity engineers / owners, up revise parts and setup release process.
-Raise issues with commodity owners of part clashes / CAD assembly issues when needed.
-Provide support to other non-engineering teams with using Windchill to reduce dependency on excel BOMS. (Basic how-to guidance)
-Produce / maintain top level assemblies in Creo – knowledge and use of skeleton model / location plains / datums advantageous.
-Investigate and check Windchill BOM and Excel BOM are aligned – Excel being phased out / reduce dependency.
-Support design review meetings with CAD presentation

You will have the skills and experience in:

– Windchill/Creo PTC experience required (further training can be provided on specific setup)
– Engineering background required
– Familiarity with product design life cycle (PLM)
– Understanding of electrical/battery systems would be advantageous but not essential.
