About this Role:
A major civil engineering contractor have been awarded a number of large-scale earthworks, drainage, bridges and new road packages for High Speed 2's phase 1. They are on the ground with work starting imminently and are looking for a Quality Advisor with a minimum of 5 years' experience and a background in civil engineering.

The role will require you to support the delivery team advising on quality matters, to ensure the project meets the specification and the highest standard of work is delivered.

Duties include:
*Complete internal auditing, supplier audits in line with the objectives
*Liaise with Quality Managers and delivery teams
*Carry out quality inspections to maintain best practice
*Providing quality related training to ensure the business performs at the highest standard
*Attend pre-start meetings to advise on QA/QC requirements
*Use systems to monitor the performance of quality planning and managing defects
