As a Quantity Surveyor you will:
*Carry out all duties required by the commercial department or project team, to support the successful identification, evaluation, negotiation and implementation of change;
*Support the production of accurate forecasts of change;
*Obtain supporting information from a variety of sources to ensure the veracity of the implications of change;
*Have a strong understanding of the change mechanisms particular to the project;
*Ensure contract the contract timescales are adhered;
*Assist in ensuring effective records are maintained to support change evaluation;
*Deliver such information on change as required by other functions;
*Ensure compliance with BMS;
*Meet with the client representative as and when required;
*At all times act in a professional manner toward internal and external contacts in keeping with the project reputation and image;
You will be part of our UK Infrastructure business working on a variety of client projects in sectors such as Rail, Roads, Highways, Water, Utilities, Ports and Defence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Ability to establish friendly and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
*Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting
*Driving the improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets
*Administration of a variety of contracts
*Managing the contract change effectively to ensure the project remains within governance
*Collaborating with clients and contractors to manage the delivery of the project deliverables such as programme performance, cost control and value engineering
*Providing sound commercial advice and support to all stakeholders
*Leading people and commissions as required
