Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Leader required to join a leading manufacturer within the electrical industry.
The successful Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Leader must have an electrical background in UPS Systems (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, generators or similar electrical products.
Field Service Engineer or UPS Engineer looking to come off the tools and progress in to a Project Manager role would also be of interest.

Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Leader Role
Managing electrical engineering projects from handover through to final completion & cash collection.
Owns the entire Project delivery relationship with important clients and through high level, highly proactive engagement will be constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain that relationship.
Managing the Project technical aspects to meet the contract and client quality expectations, controlling scope creep, managing RFI’s, and obtaining drawing, RAMS and quality check approval, compiling ‘Snag Lists’ and managing to full resolutions.
Managing the Project Timelines: for products, services, documentation and quality to achieve on time completion.
Perform consulting services at customer sites as well as over the phone.
Continually searching for ways to improve business, upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and client trends.
Managing projects ranging from £1.5m -£10m.
Liaise with various engineering departments
Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Leader Requirements
Proven electrical industry experience required. Detailed knowledge of UPS Sytems LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, generators, or similar electrical engineering products.
Proven Project Management skills and experience, plus formal certification: PMP Certification preferred or CAPM or Prince 2.
Excellent electrical engineering knowledge – bachelor’s degree or HND/HNC level qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering is advantageous.
Experience as a Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer / UPS Engineer or similar.
Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
Practical knowledge of current Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
Site Safety Management qualification (SMSTS or SSSTS)
Field Service Engineer or UPS Engineer looking to come off the tools and progress in to a Project Manager role would also be of interest.
Commutable to the South of the UK or willing to travel.
Full UK driving license
