Production Technician – Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
Our client has enjoyed year on year growth across the UK for the last 5 years due to continued success within the Document Management and Digitalisation Software Solution Sector. The company boasts a huge client base within the Public and Private Sectors and has plans for continued expansion over the next 5, 10 and 20 years.
This is an opportunity for either strong graduate with electrical or/and mechanical qualifications or an experienced multi-skilled electromechanical technician who wants to be valued, rewarded and developed with a company who invest and support every applicant at any level.
We are currently looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance & Production Technician to oversee and manage high speed printing, ancillary and inserting equipment and machinery based in Milton Keynes.
* Salary – £30,000 – £40,000 – DOE

* Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 17:30 including 1 hour break
Candidates will need to demonstrate previous experience relating to multi-skilled maintenance engineering from an electrical and mechanical discipline, ideally within a fast-paced production site.
Production Technician – Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
Essential:
* Hold a recognised Electro/mechanical Engineering qualification
* Postgraduate degree, HND/HNC, City and Guilds, NVQ3 or equivalent
* Demonstrable multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience
* Ability to interpret manufacturer’s electrical wiring diagram and to use a variety of test and inspection equipment to diagnose and rectify faults at a component level
* Previous experience of working in a fast-paced production environment
* Logical approach
* Results focussed with clear understanding of targets
* Desire to work together with your team to achieve common aims
* Can-do attitude
* Self-confidence and the ability to recognise issues and escalate accordingly
Desirable:
* Functional Microsoft Office skills
* Outlook/Excel/Word
* Ability to interrogate and set up Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
* Working knowledge of single phase and 3 phase electrical systems
* Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH and other Environmental procedures
