Labourer/Production Operative

Production Operative: Available shift patterns

Night shift 10:00pm – 6:00am
Monday-Thursday weekly Rotating 6:00am – 4:00pm 4:00pm – 2:00am
Monday-Friday weekly Rotating 6:00am – 2:00pm 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Standard days 7:00am – 4:00pm
Continental shifts including days and nights (Du-pont shift pattern)
Salary & Benefits:

Salaries available start from £10.82 to £13.08 including shift premium. Once fully trained your salary can increase to between £28,100 to £30,000 per annum, including shift premium
Overtime is also available at x 1.5 x 2 etc

We are currently looking for a number of Production Operatives to join a global Manufacturing organisation based in the Leighton Buzzard area. Our client is a leading leading manufacturer of building and construction products.
Due to organic growth, we are currently seeking a number of Production Operatives to join the team, this presents an outstanding opportunity for secure work on a long-term temporary basis, but offers opportunities of permanent employment and excellent benefits, for the right candidates.
Production Operative: (The ideal Candidate)

Must have 2years or more manufacturing/Production operative experience
Must be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and have a keen eye for detail
Must be able to work as part of a team and as an individual
FLT license (Desirable)

Production Operative: (The Role)

The role for a Production Operative is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and enjoy work which is hands on.

Manually handling loads up to 25kg
The production of high-quality products operating production machinery
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
Operations of a range of machines as part of a multi-skilled team
Ensure areas are inspected / maintained in accordance with local Health & Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment operating machinery is highly desirable
An excellent level of health and safety in the work place awareness, capable of working in a safe and efficient manner
