The Production Operative vacancy is working with a leading manufacturer of building and construction products. Within the position you will have the opportunity to progress through the companies very competitive banding structure and pay matrix. with this role you will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery within a manufacturing environment, full training is provided. Based in the Leighton Buzzard area, the position is initially offered upon a long-term temporary basis, but offers opportunities of permanent employment and excellent benefits, for the right individuals who wish to join our established team of production operatives.
Salary & benefits (Production operative):
Salaries available start from £24,000 to £27,200 subject to hours worked, including shift premium. Once fully trained your salary can increase to between £28,100 to £30,000 per annum, including shift premium
Overtime is also available at a premium x 1.5 x 2 etc
Morning/Afternoons/Night – Monday to Friday – 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am with the night shift starting at 10pm on a Sunday, finishing Friday morning at 6am. weekly rotation between the 3 shifts

Location: Leighton BuzzardKey responsibilities of Production operative:
The production of high-quality products operating production machinery
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
Operations of a range of machines as part of a multi-skilled team
Ensure areas are inspected / maintained in accordance with local Health & Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (Production Operative)
Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment operating machinery is highly desirable
