We have partnered together with an F1 team to recruit for a Composites Production Engineer who will develop their composite processes and truly challenge how they manufacture composite components.

What’s on offer;

Part of the role is in the thick of the day to day production race so will be making decisions and thinking on your feet, however part will be working with other teams such as Manufacturing engineer and design, being more strategic. It will ensure the processes defined will produce quality parts in tandem with the jig designers. This would truly be an opportunity to work in an elite team of likeminded individuals and given autonomy in your own projects…..what else could you want?

What’s required;
Now as you can imagine a rare opportunity like this is going to require a very skilled individual. The type of individual that will be to be the go-to person within composites when there is an issue, the type of person that can adapt to his surroundings from the shop floor to the design office. So, it goes without saying extensive experience of composites (machining, laminating and trimming) are required as this individual must be technically very credible. Their industry is Motorsport and a lot of their composite components are very complex, so F1 or Motorsport experience is required. Also, energy and a desire to improve, driven by continuous improvement methodologies is a great asset.

So, to recap; you are both confident and competent on the complete end to end composites manufacturing process from design to inspection, you’ve had experience of manufacturing complex Motorsport parts and you’re good at building relationships (from shop floor to senior managers).
