Product Validation Engineer
If you have previously worked within Product validation and test of Battery systems and would like to work in the Milton Keynes area, then this Contract role is for you!
Seeking a Contract Product Validation Engineer for an initial six-month period with likely extension this role is within an excellent well known manufacturing business
The Product Validation Engineer Role:
– Manage validation testing for battery packs, from initial planning, including instrumentation, test support which could involve troubleshooting and documentation of the test reports.
– Capable of working on High Voltage battery systems
– This work plans, tracks, and evaluates results from a wide range of analyses and functional tests to assess product risk and performance.
– These results are expected to drive quality decisions and proactively resolve product issues before the product reaches the customer.
– Applies and supports the improvement of processes such as technical requirements, iDFMEA, Engineering Standard Work (ESW), DVP&R, test planning, and problem solving and tools such as Integrity, Microsoft Power BI, and McParts required to support the processes and enable high quality decision making.
The Successful Product Validation Engineer:
– Battery system knowledge and experience
– Been in test & validation role for minimum 4 years and able to use and analyse CAN via vector tool
– College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
– Prior entry level engineering equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required.
– Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred
** This role is assessed as within IR35 and as such must be paid as either PAYE or Umbrella company**
