Product Manager – Industrial Equipment
The Client & Role | Who Are They?
Do you have product management experience, and are you seeking a new job in the home counties? Our client is a well establish SME manufacturing and distribution business looking for a Product Manager, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a key member of the team, you will be expected to work alongside the Technical Manager and who will be responsible for delivering the product technically and compliance.
The Product Manager duties and responsibilities will include:
* Developing products through insights from market research.
* Defining the key features, specifications and requirements of the product based on customer preferences.
* Working with the Sales Director and Management to establish strategies for product pricing and positioning.
* Conducting competitor research to learn more about customers’ needs.
* Performing profit analysis and forecasting to develop or improve product marketing strategies.
The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in product management or related role.
* Knowledge of every aspect of the product development life cycle.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage and supervise multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
* Ability to create product development and product launch strategies.
* Market knowledge of electro mechanical products such as industrial weighing scales, laboratory equipment or metrology equipment would be highly advantageous.
