Principal Structural Engineer

A leading mid-sized firm based in Buckinghamshire is looking to recruit a Principal Structural Engineer for a permanent opportunity.

Our client works on the design of various structures with typical projects between £5m to £20 million in construction value. Typical projects can include residential, commercial, retail, educational, healthcare building structures. Our client also works heavily with major house builders along with undertaking major heavy civils projects such as energy to waste plats and water retaining structures.

The successful candidate would ideally have a minimum of 8 years design experience and be able to design in all main materials with minimal guidance. You will be required to lead your own projects, liaise with clients and where necessary mentor and guide more junior members of staff. Promotion within the business for the right candidate is well within reach as our client is keen to promote successful individuals who perform well.

Ideally applicants will either be Chartered (MIStrucE or ICE).
