This is a Swift Temps vacancy who are operating as an employment agency.

We have an immediate requirement for experienced plate saw (schelling) operatives to join our client based in Milton Keynes.

Applicants should have worked within a metal stockholding environment and have either counterbalance or reach forklift licences.

You will be joining a small team and will be responsible for operating saw machine (setting and Operating) working to tight tolerances, ability to read measuring equipment, quality inspecting items after each cut, loading and offloading saw with suction lifting equipment – cutting aluminum and steel, general warehouse duties including picking stock, banding, wrapping, stock allocating, operating either/ or both counterbalance/ reach FLT.

Working hours Monday-Friday 07:30-16:30

This is an ongoing role, leading to a permanent position upon successful completion of a 12 week probationary period.
