My client is a national Plant and Construction company that due to continued growth now require a Field Service Engineer.
This position is specifically covering the M1 to M40 Corridor around Milton Keynes to Oxford.
This role would suit somebody with previous experience working on excavators up to 30 tonne / Dumpers / Rollers / Small Tools / and other related construction equipment. Thye Field Service Engineer would ideally have worked on machines such as Hitachi, Volvo, Komatsu, Bomag, Thwaites, Terex, and Kubota.
This is a Monday to Friday role that pays door to door and offers overtime as and when you require it. Working hours are 7:00am – 16:30pm and a service vehicle and specialist tools are included.
Plant Mechanic Field Service Roles & Responsibilities

Candidates must hold the NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance & Repair and will also ideally have a clean driver’s licence.
*
Must have experience with carrying out welding.
*
Must be able to work under pressure.
*
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment.
*
Carry out fault finding, diagnostics of all plant equipment
*
Liaise daily with plant service controllers for all breakdowns/planned maintenance/LOLER inspections etc
*
Report any damage/misuse of any company assets to the plant service controllers (photos to be obtained for internal use)
*
Carry out 6/12 monthly LOLER inspections on plant and equipment as directed by plant service controllers
*
Inform when job is complete to obtain next job/service/breakdown for parts required
*
Input information on services/breakdowns/daily onto tablet ensuring all returns and worksheets are up to date
*
Accurately monitor all stock levels on service van.
*
Adhere to Company H & S Policy and site safety awareness training at all times.
*
Service vehicle included and specialist tools
*
28 Days holiday per annum which includes statutory bank holidays
