International piling contractor with a pipeline of projects countrywide seeks to employ a Piling Civil Engineer with both solid hands-on site piling experience as well as the related geotechnical design experience. This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic/technically orientated Engineer that is looking for career development, to be involved on a long-term iconic project with a professional piling contractor.

Duties of this role will include, but not limited to, the following –

• Develop methods and detailed plans for the construction activities in accordance with specifications
• Produce pre-construction planning including budgeting/costing
• Complete all temporary works requirements including platform designs and geotechnical designs
• Manage the installation of bored piles, diaphragm walling, ground improvements and reinforced concrete
• Resource and manage the staff and equipment including the reporting thereof
• Close Liaison with the Client/Principal Contractor

The requirements for this post will include –

• Hands on piling experience as gained working for a piling contractor
• Geotechnical/piling/related temporary works design experience is eagerly sought after
• Preferably a Civil Engineering degree and/or working towards a Master’s and Chartership
• Proven communication, project management and supervisory skills
