Position:Paint Technician / Sprayer
Location: Milton Keynes / Stonebridge
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm / 40 hours
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 – Overtime Available 

My client, a specialist Powered Access Clinet has a exciting new position for a fully skilled Paint Technician. 

The position is a hands on role shot blasting, fully preparing, wet spraying and powder coating a range of chassis and ancillary components / materials.

Responsibilities of the Paint Technician will include:

The successful Vehicle/Trailer Painter will be reporting to the Production Shift Manager and you will be responsible for ensuring all commercial vehicles are prepped and sprayed ensuring the highest standard of finish. You must have previous experience of working with single and two pack paints.

Key Skills and Experience of the Paint Technician:

Experience in spraying or powder coating to understand the effects of poor preparation and/or poor paint / powder application can have in terms of inconsistent film thickness, gloss levels, orange peel appearance & colour variations
Experience of wet painting primer and gloss and/or wet interzinc primer using airless, air assisted and hvlp systems, primer and gloss paint (2pack systems), preferably within a manufacturing or car industryIf you are intrested in the above position, Please apply with an up to date CV or call Lucie at Kemp Recruitment on (phone number removed)
