We have partnered with an F1 team to recruit for a NDT Inspector who will play the role of carrying out detailed inspections of complex car components and assemblies. You will be required to use various inspection methods, whilst also recording and reporting your results to ensure high standards and targets are being met.
What’s on offer;
Well, besides the opportunity to work for one of the most famous racing teams in the world you mean? Well, naturally this company pride themselves on looking after their team, this is demonstrated in the competitive salaries, healthy bonus schemes, private healthcare, oh and I forgot to mention free lunch! But, the more important stuff will include; using a variety of NDT inspection methods including Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Penetrants and Eddy Current. They have a great team who all chip in to help each other and they take it in turns to travel to the track with the race team to represent the department.

Firstly, we need someone who is highly experienced within NDT inspection and confident in using a variety of inspection methods related to this testing. You will need to have either PCN or EN4179 NDT certificates in Ultrasonic and at least one in either, Eddy Current and Penetrants. Experience of working with either metallic or composite components is a distinct advantage but if you have both that is a bonus. Their shift pattern is an early, late and days shift so no nights are required.
Right, let’s recap;
You’ve got relevant NDT experience and are certified in Ultrasonic and have either or both Eddy Current and Penetrants certs as well, you have a very diligent approach and are happy to be flexible with duties to support the team…….if this sounds like you, please click to apply and Jason Parrott will be in touch to tell you more of the good stuff
