We are recruiting for a new team of Multi-Skilled Engineers (fixed term for 6 months) to work in partnership with Packaging Team members, with joint responsibility for the efficient and safe running of filling and packaging equipment in order to produce Can's that meet Refresco's quality standards, whilst demonstrating the Refresco values.
You will be Apprentice trained or time served electrically biased Dual/Multi skilled engineer 18th edition is a requirement, ideally you will have experience in a FMCG Manufacturing Plant and PLC Experience would be beneficial.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Leading maintenance activity to agreed standards and planned preventative maintenance plan.
* Lead Continuous Improvement activity to improve equipment reliability and reduce wastage.
* Effective operation of all Packaging and Filling line equipment.
These are shift based roles, working on a 24/7 shift pattern on a 4 on 4 off basis. 2 days, followed by 2 nights, with 4 day off. (6.00am to 6.00pm / 6.00pm to 6.00am) days and nights.
The roles come with a package including an hourly rate of £17.75 (Production: Grade E3) plus shift allowance (equals an annual salary of £41,712.22) a pension scheme, a great holiday allowance, life assurance and free onsite parking.
Our current UK Business unit has six manufacturing plants (soon to be seven) providing a great place to work for 1600 employees producing private label soft drinks and fruit juices for all the leading retailers including Tesco, ASDA, Morrison's, Sainsburys, ALDI and Lidl. We also manufacture for branded customers such as Innocent, Ocean Spray, Weetabix, Del Monte and Um Bongo.
