MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

MILTON KEYNES

£42,500 + O/T + Benefits

My client, a market leading manufacturing company is seeking to bolster its maintenance engineering team with the addition of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Manufacturing an array of products from their site they supply into major markets. This opportunity offers great security and stability for the right candidate. With progressive training and development these roles also allow promotion in the longer term, whilst being supported by a friendly and welcoming team.

Person Spec

You will be an Apprentice trained or time served electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer. Ideally you will have experience working as an Engineer in a FMCG Manufacturing Plant. 18th Edition is essential and PLC experience would also be beneficial.

Role Description

·Rapidly diagnose and resolve both mechanical, electrical and basic control and instrumentation faults

·Lead maintenance activity to agreed standards and the planned preventative maintenance plan.

·Lead Continuous Improvement activity to improve equipment reliability and reduce wastage.

·Design, trial and implement minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance

·Work collaboratively with all teams on site to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvement

This is a shift based role. Working a 24/7 pattern, 4 Shifts on & 4 Shifts off. 4 shifts on: 2 days 06:00 to 18:00 & 2 nights: 18:00 to 06:00 (42 hours per week)
