Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes

XCL Group are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Milton Keynes. Our client is a large printing distribution company that have very recently acquired a new site in the Milton Keynes area.

The main duties of the role will be, but not limited to:

* Be involved in all safety procedures, such as: incident reporting, audits, testing etc.

* Follow health and safety procedures at all times making sure that 5S standards are met and that all materials are disposed of in the correct way.

* Be able to plan and produce new ideas in order to reduce the cost of maintenance on site.

* Take part in site permit work procedures.

* Provide detailed reports on inspections

* Take part in site inspections and tests as required to do so.

* Assist in training new personal as required.

* When required, you will install, construct plant projects and modifications.

* Work closely with other members of the engineering team

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

* Have similar experience in this role.

* Have relevant qualifications for this job role.

* Have a strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering.

* Have GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.

* Be IT literate.

* Have strong written and verbal skills.

* Be able to work to exact specifications/ instructions.

Hours of Work

* 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday
