We are supporting our client in their search for an Injection Mould Toolmaker, who will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, servicing and repair of injection mould tools.

Role Description:

The Injection Mould Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, repairing and manufacturing new plastic injection mould tools and press tools to a very high standard. This includes the following:

• Accurately reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings

• Candidates for the role of Toolmaker will have a wealth of experience in Plastic Injection Mould Tool manufacture, from start to finish including assembly and fitting.

• Working within the busy Tooling Division, good teamwork skills will be present working alongside experienced toolmakers as well as a strong team of machinists.

• Excellent organisation skills will enable the successful candidate to provide guidance and work instruction where necessary to the machining team.

• The successful candidate will be able to manage tooling projects and be responsible for the full planning of the manufacturing process.

• Candidates will be competent in using manual toolroom machinery and equipment, ideally, they will be familiar with CNC Machines (Milling, Turning, EDM Erosion, Wire Erosion
