Job Profile
Due to continued investment in plant equipment, technology and critically the staff, there is now a position available for a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist / Toolmaker.
As the successful CNC Machinist / Toolmaker, you will experience working for an established leader in the design and manufacture of moulds and moulding equipment to a varied and loyal client base, offering excellent working conditions alongside a friendly and welcoming management and production team.

Duties:
• CNC Machining – Milling and Turning (5 axis experience would be ideal)
• Manufacturing Blow Mould Tooling
• Working to tight tolerances
• Machining from engineering drawings
• Producing small batch runs

Skills and Experience:
• Previous toolmaking is essential
• CNC Machining – Milling and/or Turning
• Fanuc controls experience ideal but will consider others
• 5 axis experience would be ideal but not essential
• EDM – Spark and Wire Erosion would be an advantage but not essential
• Manual / Conventional Machining would be an advantage

Hours of Work:
• 39hrs per week
• 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday
• 7:30am to 3:30pm, Friday
• £15 to £18 p/hr
• Lots of overtime available – paid at x1.5hrs after 39hrs
– Factory opens 6:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday & 7am to 12noon Saturdays
