Our client, based in Tring is a leading distributor of construction equipment in London and the Home Counties and is looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer/Service Engineer.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

Service and maintenance of construction equipment on-site and in the depot
Fault finding and diagnosis including common rail diesel engines
Warranty repairs
PDI inspections and new machine preparation including making modifications and fitting attachments  The Person:

As a Mobile Plant Engineer/Service Engineer you'll have…

Previous experience and qualifications suitable to the position
Maintenance/fitting background on excavators, forklifts, rollers, generators etc.
The ability to work without supervision to deadlines and be a good timekeeper
A positive attitude and willingness to succeed
Good communication skills and be customer service focused
Basic computer skills
A full UK driving license
Salary: £32k – £35kpa with a probationary period of 6 months, Overtime will be available. A company pension scheme is provided along with all training via the manufacturers when the appropriate courses are run. 

Vehicle: Fully expensed engineers vehicle, phone and laptop included.

Hours: Normal working week, 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with 30min unpaid lunch break.

Holidays: 25 days pa. Pro-rata to time served.
