Mobile Gas Engineer – Commercial & Domestic

My client is a provider of M&E building services engineering and facilities management, providing a high specification client base with tailored and bespoke M&E & HVAC technical solutions.

A Mobile Gas Engineer is required to perform PPM and reactive/breakdown repairs to commercial and domestic gas systems and appliance within client environments to include (not limited to) hospitals, commercial properties and retail facilities located throughout the Bedfordshire, M1 Corridor, Hertfordshire & South East regions. Wider travel and possible working away from home may be required as business require.

To be considered for this position the successful candidate will hold valid commercial & domestic gas qualifications.

Essential Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

Commercial & Domestic ACS Gas qualifications
IPAF & PASMA would be advantageous
Driving License (Maximum 6 Penalty Points)
Further training & certification commensurate with the position

Additional Information

Call-out rota working is essential and this is approx. 1- 4/5
Call-out runs from Friday PM – Monday AM
£70.00 Call-out retainer
Overtime from Monday – Friday is at time and a third. Saturday until 12.00 is paid at time and a half & Sunday is paid at double time.
Door to door travel
Company Vehicle i.e. Van (Reasonable personal use permitted)
Fuel Card, PDA & Mobile Phone
20 days holiday (plus statutory days)
