Mechanical Service Engineer – Buckinghamshire Based with UK Travel

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for this established company who are part of a global organisation. They provide packaging solutions to manufacturing and distribution clients. The role will see you providing installation, commissioning and service engineering at customers sites across the UK. They are looking for candidates based in or around Buckinghamshire

This role would suit a Service Engineer or a Maintenance Engineer who has worked within either food/packaging/pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Working on varied packaging equipment that is mechanical but has electrical inverters, PLC's mainly Siemens S7 but will vary from site to site, also some pneumatics and battery driven machines. You must be a mechanical biased multi-skilled engineer who holds relevant City & Guilds or equivalent level engineering qualifications. Excellent communication skills are essential

The company offers a basic salary of £25,000 which will rise after probation. Hours of work are generally 8.30 am – 5.00 pm but a high degree of flexibility will be required (37.5 hours week). 25 days holiday + Christmas, life assurance, private medical, + pension. The position comes with a company vehicle + equipment required to carry out your duties
