Mechanical Project Manager – Pharmaceuticals

£75,000 + package

Core Talent are currently on the look-out for an Mechanical Project Manager with at least 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join a leading contractor in the Milton Keynes area. This is a permanent role offering upwards of £75,000 per annum for the right candidate. You will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of pharma projects across the London area, ensuring high standards of quality, health and safety are met at all times. You will be responsible for the project team, reporting directly into the Project Director.

Role Responsibilities:

To manage resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.

Communicate with the client to identity their requirements and ensure projects are always completed to their requirements, budgets and deadlines

Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately documented.

Ensure health and safety throughout the project is managed to the highest standard

Attends meetings and is prepared to travel as required

Manage project commercial and issues and produce cost reporting (WIP).

Represent the company on any internal or external issues.

Prepare detailed plans to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with them and are following these guidelines.

Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.

Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives.

Managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience within the pharma, chemical or life sciences industry

Relevant trade background or Degree Qualified

Full project lifecycle experience from end-to-end design through to C&Q and handover is highly desirable

Good knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations

Excellent management and communications

Excellent Computer Skills – MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.

Recognized qualification in Project Management – preferred
