Due to a continuous growth, a market-leading manufacturer of specialist product is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will ensure that all on-site machinery is working to its maximum efficiency.

Key tasks:

* Offering technical advice, fault-finding and problem solving.

* Providing preventative maintenance and calibration periodically to the on-site machinery to minimise production downtime.

* Providing recommendations for improvements of plant operability and reducing the maintenance costs.

* Ensuring that plant operation meets H&S requirements at all times.

* Regularly updating all documentation related to mechanical maintenance.

* Liaising with Service Engineers.

* Communication with Production department concerning maintenance work, closing and opening of the production lines.

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will have experience of working within manufacturing environment and repairing of production lines including: welding, fabrication, pipe-fitting and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. The successful candidate will have complete Apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance or have other relevant qualifications.
