Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for a hugely successful manufacturing company that supplies the automotive industry based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, paying an hourly rate of £13.00 (£22,027 per annum) working a flexible shift pattern to include mornings and afternoons.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining production by carrying out both pro active and reactive maintenance tasks on a variety of foundry and machine shop plant and equipment.

You will have a mechanical bias, ideally HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification, teamed with the ability to demonstrate theoretical knowledge. It is essential that you have working knowledge of current safety regulations and legislation. A manufacturing background is ideal with practical problem solving and communication skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure. It is essential that you have experience in working with heavy machinery/plant equipment with experience of electro mechanical maintenance engineering.

You will have a "can do" attitude, be approachable with drive to meet deadlines and work as part of a progressive team.
