Our Buckingham based client has been a specialist in their trade for over 50 years and due to expansion, they are now seeking a Plant Fitter/ Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to service, repair and maintain construction, plant and commercial equipment, based primarily in the workshop. You will only be required to attend sites when someone is either on holiday or off due to illness.

*You need to have experience as a Plant Fitter, as you will be working with construction machinery, heavy plant, commercial vehicles or even cranes (concrete equipment would be an advantage but is not essential)
*Knowledge of 12/24v electrical systems
*Capable of repairing general hydraulic systems
*Knowledge and experience in diesel engines
*You must be a team player, be able to work alone using your own initiative
*UK Driving licence

You will predominately be based at the Buckingham depot however, you will occasionally be required to attend customer sites for service and repair work, therefore a full/clean UK driving licence is required as you will be provided with a vehicle.

Standard working days and hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: £30,000- £35,000 Overtime is available at time and a half.
