Role: Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Mon – Fri Double Days

The Company

My clients are a highly experienced producer and manufacturer of specialist packaging within the food, bakery, and confectionary industries to name a few. They currently work with some of the UK’s largest retailer in supplying them with these specialist packaging solutions and currently turn over more than £100m per annum.

I’m looking to recruit a maintenance engineer to join the existing team assisting with the reactive and planned maintenance of the highly automated systems on site. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company, working alongside some highly skilled engineers who will help you to achieve the highest standards of engineering.

The Role

This maintenance engineer role will involve:

Reactive and PPM work on various ABB robotics, thermoforming machines, conveyor systems and packaging machines.
Electrical responsibilities including fault finding, working with sensors, relays, contactors, and control panels along with swapping like for like components.
Mechanical responsibilities include replacing like for like components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, gearboxes, and chains.
Working a double day’s role of Mon-Fri (alternating weeks of 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00.
The Candidate

To be successful in the application for this maintenance engineer role you will need:

Recognised mechanical or electrical qualification.
Confidence in fault finding on electrical and mechanical components.
To work well within a team.
Be motivated in a working environment.
