Carmichael are seeking an experienced materials technician to join a major infrastructure project based in Buckinghamshire.

Duties will include –

Conducting lab soils/aggregates/concrete testing in accordance to UKAS and technical specifications

Conducting insitu testing and material sampling

Recording all results in accordance with QA/QC documentation

Maintain and calibrate equipment.

Requesting tests

Monitoring test frequency

Monitoring test results for (Grading, MC, MCV friction etc)

Assessing classification of materials

Monitoring compaction

Requirement for this post include-

Previous experience in a similar position for a tier one Contractor

Solid knowledge of testing procedure and specifications

HND/HNC/NVQ in civil engineering or similar

CSCS
