I am supporting a European leading manufacture with their search for a Maintenance Engineer based at their Milton Keynes site. My client is beginning a 5 year expansion programme, so this an exciting time to join the company. The Job:
– Provide reactive maintenance support to the production line
– Assessment, identification, modification and performance of preventive maintenance, scheduled maintenance, modifications, or failures / breakdowns on production and packaging machines / lines, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical
– Engineering corrective actions to support the Production Line Manager, ensuring that safe product is produced in line with legislation & Quality standards
– Identify & action plans to minimise unnecessary losses such as cost, waste and inefficiencies
– Log work on the in-house ERP system, including spare parts used and any changes in equipment
Your Experience:
– Knowledge in mechanical or electrical maintenance within the manufacturing industry, preferably in FMCG
– Strong communication & interpersonal skills
– Food Hygiene Training (Basic level) either external or an in-house equivalent training
– Good knowledge of health & safety
Working Hours:
Operating on continental shift pattern. Consisting of 12 hour rotational day & night shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off pattern.
