A large food manufacturer are looking for Maintenance Engineers to work on a continental shift pattern.. You will have a strong mechanical bias with experience of fault finding and an understanding of electrical maintenance, with experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Buckingham, Northampton, Luton, Milton Keynes, Bicester, Aylesbury, Bedford, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £ 30,000 to £ 35,000 per annum & Annual Bonus, Night Shift Allowance and Pension

The Role

Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for providing reactive and pre planned maintenance to production and manufacturing machinery.
Assessment and identification of performance of preventative maintenance scheduled.
As the Maintenance Engineer you'll identify continuous improvement actions to machinery and reduce production down time.
Reporting any issues with machinery which will cause issues to production to the Engineering Manager and Production Managers.
Update and maintain internal database to record any fault issues and reordering of parts and products within the engineering department.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and actively promote whilst on shift.

The Person

Mechanically bias Maintenance Engineer with experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
You'll have an understanding of electrical fault finding.
Strong background working to pre-planned and reactive maintenance with experience fault finding on mechanical equipment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to feedback progress on agreed plans via reports and verbally.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety polices, with the ability implement whilst on shift.
