We are currently recruiting for multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a company based in the Buckingham area. The Maintenance Engineer will be electrically biased, and  work a rotating day shift, Monday – Friday £35,000 – £37,000. NO NIGHTS

The Maintenance Engineer will be are:
Performing multi-skilled maintenance activities on machinery and equipment between electrical, electronic, mechanical and refurbishment work including breakdown, planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Ensuring that all work carried out, is in line with current Codes of Practice
Providing effective and efficient support to the manufacturing functions and assist in achieving maximum production efficiency levels with minimum machine downtime
Undertaking fault finding analysis, identifying root causes of plant or equipment breakdowns
Participate in projects at all stages of implementation through to
Advising the management on continuous improvement measures to add value to the business.

The hours of work are 40 per week (Monday to Friday)and it will involve working alternating shifts between 6:00am and 11:00pm (i.e. 6:30am to 2:30pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm, 2:30pm to 10:30pm).

The successful Maintenance Engineer  will have served a City and Guilds 3 year engineering apprenticeship, with working knowledge of single and three phase systems, motors, inverters, safety circuits and electrical schematics.

Ideally, you will have experience in packing and process machinery.
