£34,000 to £39,000 inclusive of shift allowance plus Benefits

A food manufacturing company are looking for several Maintenance Engineers to join their expanding team. They have double days and continental shift patterns available. You will be responsible for conducting routine & reactive maintenance on fast paced food manufacturing lines. You will be mechanically bias with confidence in electrical fault finding.

As a Maintenance Engineer  your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

Reporting into the Line Technician you will provide reactive & routine maintenance support to the production operations.
Assessment, identification and fault finding on current food processing equipment.
Engineering corrective actions to support the Production Line Manager, ensuring the products are produced safely and within food hygiene standards.
Actively support Production Operatives on basic maintenance and training to maintain machinery and production output.
Work closely with the Engineering team to suggest continuous improvement practices.
Record all engineering activities on the internal systems, such as breakdowns, spares used and routine maintenance completed.

Confident in reading engineering, routine and reactive maintenance.
