BASIC SALARY: Up to £35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Multi skilled, Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Engineer – 17th Edition / 18th Edition
 
This is a site based multi skilled maintenance role of industrial capital equipment / process machinery.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Multi skilled, Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Engineer – 17th Edition / 18th Edition
 
· Maintenance, fault finding and repair of electromechanical capital equipment – including safety and control systems.
· 9:30 to 5:30 Monday to Friday.  
· Work to, and develop a preventative maintenance plan.
· Report on breakdowns and recommend improvements to systems and equipment.
· Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Multi skilled, Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Engineer – 17th Edition / 18th Edition
 
· Skilled Electrical / Mechanical / Multi skilled Engineer / Technician with a good balance of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills
· 17th or 18th Edition qualified. Can read and interpret electrical wiring and schematic drawings
· Mechanically comfortable with hydraulics / pneumatics
· Some familiarity with PLC's (we use Allen Bradley). This isn't programming from scratch – we just need someone who can fault find and identify issues
